Childhood is a blessed phase of a person’s life. The child encounters a strange environment when it enters the world leaving behind mothers’ womb. It soon demands attention, it cries to express its discomfort. However it is soon comforted with the love showered upon by the parents and accepts the change in its environment. The next case where the child is thrown into similar situation is when it has to leave behind its home (from 08:30 AM - 12:30 PM) and enter the school. It once again demands attention, cries to express its discomfort. Not to worry about it anymore as the child here at Sowbhagya Kindergarten will not just get initiated into formal education but would find the place a second home in the tutors care. Our Montessori Trained Teachers are trained to not just impart the rudimentary knowledge but also to help child learn to cope with discomfort. They mould a child in all aspects, beginning from behaviour to adapting to the social living.

The academic year begins with “Welcome Day” and then onwards each day is loaded with fun and learning. There would be a plenty of classroom activities to engage the student and enable learning through active participation. Special Days are celebrated with your Special Children, be it International Yoga Day or the Grandparents Day and many more.

Here is a list of some important days that are observed every year and what we do to make these days a very special day for your child.

• Color Splash Days – Kids wear theme based clothes with green, blue, red and yellow. They not just enjoy the bright hues but also begin to recognize and learn, identify colors.
• Art and Craft Classes – A child in the kindergarten level is like a sponge that’s ready to absorb everything it observes. It’s the right stage to train the hands to make it a master painter or to acquire the skills of Origami, Kirigami, Paper Quilling, Piñatas.
• Independence Day, Republic Day, Gandhi Jayanthi - National festivals are celebrated to mark the events of National Importance and bring out the patriotism within us.
• Annual Sports Meet- Kids enjoy playing. They are not just taught the rules of various games, encouraged to imbibe sportsmanship in regular games period, their skills are put to test and are given away prizes for exhibiting their talent. Our Sports Meet is not meant only for the children. Even parents are given an opportunity to relive their childhood and play like their Kids.
• Grandparents Day – Respecting elders is a value inherited in our customs. Upholding them and imparting these values to students is part ad parcel of the responsibility of education system.
• Graduation Day – Upon successful completion of their Nursery Programme, graduation ceremony is organised.

All in all Kindergarten @ Sowbhagya aims to mould, motivate and encourage children to realize their fullest potential.
